Sweet 16 Sweet Adrianna

Happy 16th birthday my sweet Adrianna!!!
I can remember the day you were born.
Your mom laughed the whole time she was in labor.
She worked so hard to bring you into this world and
sweet girl, you were worth it to her and to us.
I remember crying the first time I held you.
I could not contain my tears, you were so
perfect and wanted.
I had prayed so many nights that God
would bless my brother and sweet sister-in-law
with a child, and now you were finally
in our lives forever.
This is one of the first times I remember God
answering a prayer.
I was 12 at the time you were born and
I wanted nothing more than to help with you.
Little did I think about you growing up, but I
am reminded of it now every time I
see your maturing face.
You have an amazing spirit about you...
Your determination is like no other.
You are timid and meek at first then once you warm up
you are spunky and full of life!
You have a dear heart for God and
sharing His love.
You have blessed me on so many occasions with
a verse from the Bible at what was always the right time.
You helped me through the most difficult time in my life.
You have an incredible destiny.
I want to encourage you to reach for the stars
and set your goals high in life.
For I know that what ever you set your mind to..
with God's strength.. you will accomplish it!
Have the audacity to ask God, like Joshua did, for the
sun to stand still, and live in your faith that He
gave you this life to impact the Kingdom
for Him!
I am proud of you sweet girl and
it would take me hours to list all your wonderful
attributes so I will sum it up by saying this...
I love being your Aunt and part of your life.
I am on the outside looking in and I see and
amazing women of God that
if finding her place in life.
I am filled with excitement knowing that you will
make wise decisions and maybe a few
not so wise, but I have confidence that you will
discern when you do and learn from your failures.
Know I am always here for you and
praying for God's voice
to be present with you
always.

All my love,
Aunt G-G

All things Fall

This picture makes me laugh out loud!

It was our first Halloween party in 2006 at our new home.
We, Falicity Shagwell and Dr. Evil,
invited Joe Dirt,
2 random thugs and a gothic girl,
the Milk Man and his baby momma,
Captain Sparrow and Elizabeth Swan.
We had a blast!

This year I am skipping the annual party because of our trip,
but next year I will plan again and have little man on the front of our invites...
ahhhhhhh I can't wait!

Show us your life Fridays...

Show us your life Fridays...
the showcase is the Kitchen.
I missed the past few that included the master bedroom, dinning room and now the kitchen.
So I thought I would just show you the whole darn house!
It is for sale and I will be sad to say good bye.
There is nothing I would change about it.
We are having open house this
Saturday 10-9-10
from
2-4pm
if you want more info email the realtor
Gail Norman (my mom) at bgtnorm at yahoo dot com
or call her at

Welcome to our home!
Isn't is just breathtaking!
I am so blessed, my daddy and brother built it for
J and I and I am amazed every time I pull in the driveway,
that this is our home!
We chose every little detail...
(while I was planning the wedding of my dreams... what a blessed girl!)
Come on in...
This is our living room.
If you look up there is a 20 foot ceiling with a
beautiful window that houses the cutest chandelier in the world.
This chandelier is special,
because my dad bought it to go in
the Arbor that covered our
wedding cake... so sweet.
If you continue to the right this is the kitchen...
yes the walls are "pumpkin bread" with a
faux "butter scotch" finish, by yours truly.
I love to paint!
But I will tell you the 20 foot walls
in the living room were killer!
I would love something other than the greenery
above the cabinets, but fact is there is only like 11 inches to
the ceiling and it has made it difficult to find anything to fit.
My favorite part is the lights above the bar and the pantry that
is as long as the wall on the right!
If you walk through the door and through the laundry room
your in the biggest pantry known to me!
and to the left is our dinning room...
my favorite part is all the windows and
the octagon tray ceiling.
And no there aren't any blind or shades
to block out the world... I love it!
It is like a 180` view of the outside wooded world.

This one may give you a better view of the whole room,
my curtains crashed after hanging for 2 years and well...
let's just say it takes 3 people to hang them... lol
This is probably my favorite room in the whole house!
I love the purple wall and art work.
The couch is from my dream world... and oh so comfy!
I love the versatility of this room and the couch.
It is actually a 2 piece sectional that
I slide all over the place to mix it up a bit.
This is the back deck....the door and window is our bedroom...
We built this coy pond together... great couples project!

So peaceful....
Master bedroom... love the view of the back yard!
Love the lighting in the tray ceiling... I use it more than the lamps!

Master bath...

Comming soon...
Baby boy H's room...
I could just scream
from the roof tops...
GOD IS FAITHFUL!!!!!!

For my bloggies and friends awaiting their promise... I pray that God will
continue to hold you and use you during this difficult time.
I pray that he will use his healing balm of Gilead over this
incredibly deep wound that goes through the center of
the heart. I pray that as He gives you the desires of your heart
that you will be able to step out of the past and into the promising future
without carrying that wound with you.
I pray that he will renew your strength like and eagle  and you
will rest in the shelter of his wing knowing he
knows the bigger picture and all the answers to
"why?"
He is FAITHFUL
to those who
have faith and trust in Him.

I will also post my favorite bath room in the house...
the 1930's guest bath inspired by my Grandmother Norman.

Oh yeah there is another bedroom that is the office...
nothing exciting in there except the beautiful  front window
that you can see on the front house picture.

Have an incredible weekend and enjoy this amazing fall weather!
EWO,
Jenny H

He is {Perfect}!!!!

Yes! It's a boy!!!
We are thrilled to welcome this little love bug to the world!
We haven't decided on a name yet. we are still praying about that one.
Here is our perfect little boy....

We are so in love!
Vickie, the sweet ultrasound tech from this post  was the one who did the scan.
I remember being in there many months ago and she said,
"hopefully one day we will be looking at a baby in there."
Here we are looking at him and he is perfect!
He weighs 8 ounces and measures exactly 18w 4d.
My God is amazing in his knitting of this child!
I just cried and cried as she finished the scan. I was in amazement of how incredible this little life inside me is being made for a purpose and I get the privilege of carrying this life.
What an honor to be the mother of this child and carry him  as close to my heart as he will ever be.
He can hear every heart beat and tone of my voice. He will know that voice when he is born.
How amazing!
It reminds me of how close I want to be to the heart of God.
I want to hear His every heart beat and know
His voice when he speaks.
We are praising God for the life he has given us, both eternal and the
little boy he is knitting in my womb.

Oh I can smell the ocean!

I am already packing my bags and the new maternity swim suit came in over the weekend. I now have a great tan, thanks to the awesome weather this weekend at the beach with my ladies, so I think I am all set! Just a few more things to do before leaving on a plane in 3 weeks and 6 days for our paradise!

The post last Wed. of our wedding pics is just a reminder to myself that in  4 short weeks we will be celebrating our 5th anniversary!  While that is awesome, I am also reminded that I do not have a wedding album to show for it. Crazy I know, I have made tons of albums for clients and even my mom has one from our wedding, fact is... we still don't! Yikes! So I have a few goals that I have set for my self. Some to be completed in the next month and some by the end of the year.
1. Decorate the house for Fall/Halloween....
my favorite time of the year and
season to decorate my house!
deadline: by thursday of this week
2. Finish my wedding album and order it!
No matter what the cost.
deadline: before Jan 2011
3. Have J carry all the bins out of the babies'
room to the attick... we will have to
move the queen bed and rest of the
furniture very soon!
deadline: by Wed of this week
4.Photograph a wedding in Beufort, SC
this weekend with my friend Leah.
deadline to pack: thur night
5. Pack for Aruba!
deadline 10/30/10.

So much to do so little time!!!
Praise God for time!
